About the RoleThe 2026 Mission Analysis Engineering Intern will support multiple programs and IRADs across Millennium Space Systems and will be responsible for growing our modeling and simulation capabilities to support mission execution. This includes developing physics-based models for space vehicles and payloads, designing image processing filters and inertial trackers, enhancing existing large-scale constellation simulations and applying AI/ML concepts to improve the quality of performance predictions.
Responsibilities- Simulate large satellite constellations to assess effectiveness against mission requirements
- Create models for space vehicle payloads (e.g., electro-optical/infrared) to use in system trades and performance predictions
- Collaborate with software and firmware teams to develop hardware for simulation deployment (e.g., software/hardware-in-the-loop)
- Develop novel algorithms, models, and data processing schemes for EO/IR sensing and tracking systems
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Export Control & Security- These positions must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance
- Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2026
- Working toward Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related technical discipline
- Familiarity with MATLAB and/or Python
- Familiarity with aerospace systems design, orbital dynamics, and/or mathematical modeling
- Enrolled student attending a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2026
- Strong academic performance (preferred GPA of 3.0 or above)
- Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills as demonstrated through leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic organizations
- Strong technical experiences as demonstrated through technical projects, research or engineering internships
- Exceptional communication skills and interest and enthusiasm related to engineering, aerospace and a career with Boeing
- Junior or Senior class standing

Summary pay range: $21.15 /hr - $30.77 /hr.
