The Role

Liquid I.V. is looking for a highly motivated, dynamic, and results‑driven leader to join our R&D team as the Process Engineer. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this role will support core expansion and continuous improvement projects, working closely with the Innovation team to ensure successful product launches.

Functions and Duties
  • Monitor the technical commercialization of new formulations at manufacturing facilities, managing plant trials, coordinating tech‑transfer processes, and ensuring product quality meets consumer expectations.
  • Support validation and implementation of premix processes, including evaluation of new and existing ingredients and production technology.
  • Serve as the technical liaison at manufacturing sites and subject-matter expert in powder manufacturing and process engineering.
  • Travel frequently to manufacturing partner sites to represent R&D.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure consistent product design and integrity.
  • Collect and analyze process and quality data from partners and third-party laboratories to generate validation reports.
  • Identify process challenges and gaps, recommend technical solutions, and correct root causes of chronic problems.
  • Develop and implement best manufacturing practices and SOPs to drive continuous improvement at manufacturing sites.
  • Leverage strong leadership to accomplish Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) and manage projects independently or within a team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with specialization in Food Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in technical commercialization of beverage products.
  • 2+ years in powder formulation development.
  • 2+ years working in a high‑speed powder blending facility.
  • Strong organizational, teamwork, and multi‑tasking skills.
  • Frequent (25–50%) domestic & international travel to manufacturing facilities.
  • Excellent planning, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills;
    Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus.
  • In‑depth knowledge of food manufacturing processes, QA principles, specification development, and pilot‑to‑full‑scale commercialization.
  • Understanding of cGMP, GRAS, and HACCP regulatory compliance.

Compensation: $88,200 – $132,400 annually (base salary only; additional benefits and bonus eligibility available).
