Millennium Space Systems Summer 2026 Internship Program – Electrical Design and Analysis

Millennium Space Systems, a part of Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), is a fast, agile small satellite company focused on national security space. This intern will provide electrical engineering and analysis work on our satellite avionics across multiple programs. This includes power, communications, and computing circuitry designed to operate in space. The intern will directly impact avionics designs, our understanding of our designs, and associated systems needed to design, build, and test our avionics hardware.
Internship Duration10–12 weeks
Key Responsibilities- Develop and analyze subcircuits such as point of load supplies, single‑ended and differential communication transceivers, etc.
- Release schematics and PCB/A‑layouts.
- Root cause anomalies during testing.
- Support bring‑up and other laboratory testing.
100% onsite; must work at one of the listed locations. Position is for 1st shift.
Export Control & Security Requirements- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” is defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 and includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- Some positions may require the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Electrical or computer engineering major.
- 3rd year or higher academic level.
- Experience with electrical design tools such as Altium Designer, KiCAD, or OrCAD.
- Strong academic performance (preferred GPA 3.0 or above).
- Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills demonstrated through leadership positions on teams or in student or civic organizations.
- Strong technical experience demonstrated through projects, research, or engineering internships.
- Exceptional communication skills and interest/enthusiasm related to engineering, aerospace, and a career with Boeing.
- Junior or Senior class standing.
Pay range: $21.15–$35.58 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
