Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineer
Hybron Technologies is a startup that has developed a new manufacturing method for fiber‑reinforced polymer composites that will revolutionize lightweight component production. Our new process solves the major challenges of traditional composites manufacturing, enabling more complex parts to be manufactured with higher quality and greater strength, at 10‑100 times the speed. We have already successfully tested our first composite compressor blades in a fighter jet engine and are looking to apply this technology to many other applications in multiple sectors, from energy to aerospace to defense.
Your journey with us is more than just a job – it’s an opportunity to shape the future of advanced manufacturing. Our technology will help solve current major problems, namely by increasing the performance and reducing the cost of components for America’s warfighters, increasing the fuel efficiency of systems to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and bringing back domestic manufacturing. Join us as we work together to create a lighter and brighter future!
Aboutthe Role
Join Hybron at the intersection of two explosive‑growth markets: advanced 155mm artillery munitions (a multi‑billion‑dollar defense sector surging due to global demand) and precision aerospace components like turbine blades and vanes powering converted aircraft engines for reliable, high‑efficiency electricity generation—especially critical for the booming data center industry.
As a key player in an early‑stage hardware tech startup, you’ll wear many hats in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. This role demands seamless transitions between deep technical engagement and high‑level strategic leadership. We’re seeking a proven program manager with 5+ years of experience in project, program, or product management—ideally backed by an engineering foundation and customer‑facing success with government entities, international partners, or defense contractors.
Direct experience with weapon systems or munitions is a strong plus.
In our lean startup culture, we prioritize high common sense, fierce ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and the drive of a true self‑starter who thrives on wearing multiple hats. In return, you’ll have outsized influence over product direction, company strategy, and industry‑shaping innovation in composites and advanced manufacturing.
Your contributions will deliver tangible impact—advancing national security through next‑generation munitions and enabling the clean, resilient power infrastructure that fuels AI and data centers worldwide. This is a rare chance to accelerate your career in a high‑growth environment that rewards bold thinking and rapid execution.
