About the RoleThe Process Engineer will join our R&D team, reporting to the Director of Engineering. The role supports core expansion and continuous improvement projects, works closely with the Innovation team, and has a direct impact on successful product launches.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor technical commercialization of new formulations at manufacturing facilities, managing plant trials, coordinating tech transfer processes, and ensuring products meet consumer expectations.
- Support validation and implementation of premix process activities, evaluating new and existing ingredients and production technology.
- Act as the technical liaison and subject‑matter expert in powder manufacturing and process engineering at manufacturing sites.
- Travel frequently to manufacturing partner sites to represent R&D.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure consistent delivery of product design and integrity.
- Collect and analyze process and quality data from manufacturing partners and third‑party laboratories to generate validation reports.
- Identify process challenges and gaps, recommend technical solutions, and address root causes of chronic problems.
- Develop and implement best manufacturing practices and SOPs to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead projects independently or within a team, achieving Objectives & Key Results (OKRs).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Food Process, Chemical, Industrial, or related). Dry‑powder and packaging experience preferred.
- 4‑6 years of experience in technical commercialization of beverage products, including 2+ years in powder formulation development and 2+ years in high‑speed powder blending.
- Strong organizational, teamwork, and multi‑tasking skills.
- Frequent (25‑50%) domestic and international travel required.
- Excellent planning, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills;
Lean Six Sigma experience a plus. - Knowledge of food manufacturing processes, QA principles, specification development, and scale‑up from pilot to full production.
- Understanding of cGMP, GRAS, and HACCP regulatory compliance.

$88,200 – $132,400 annually (base salary only; total compensation includes benefits and potential bonuses).
