POSITION DESCRIPTION

Client is seeking a Temp Packaging Engineer to join the Consumer Products Division Operations packaging team in El Segundo. This role provides hands‑on exposure to packaging development, testing, and sustainability initiatives. The Packaging Engineer will support daily operations, contribute to sustainability projects, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure packaging excellence from concept to launch.

• Prepare and set up test requests for new materials and components; evaluate test reports.
• Coordinate Greenpoint data requests and ensure accurate documentation for transfers.
• Perform project data cleanup; maintain project files and LIMS/PLM inputs.
• Support sustainability initiatives, including recyclability checks and L4TF data collection.
• Collaborate with R&I, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to follow up on action items and support project implementation.
• Assist in diverse project work, including data gathering, documentation, and follow‑ups.
• Actively participate in packaging development steps, from conception to implementation.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in Packaging, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering (or equivalent).
• Entry‑level experience (0–1 year) in technical support or academic project work.
• Strong organizational skills, curiosity, and eagerness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
