Design and Analysis Engineer (Communication / Network Systems Design) located in El Segundo, CA
.

This position: 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at El Segundo, CA. It requires an active U.S. Top Secret (SCI) Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.

• Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements
• Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications
• Leads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
• Oversees the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
• Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
• Researches technology advances for potential application to company business needs
• Makes recommendations for technology investments

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
• Level 4: 9+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor’s degree OR 7+ years with a master’s degree
• Communications and network concepts and principles
• Knowledge of and ability to utilize communications and network tests
• Systems installation and performance experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

• Knowledge of communications and network concepts
• Advanced experience in design concepts and techniques engineering, Design for Manufacture/Assembly
• Experience across electrical, mechanical and systems engineering disciplines

Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education and typically 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination. ABET is preferred in the USA but not required.
