Software Test Engineer – Millennium Space Systems
Millennium Space Systems (MSS), a part of Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), is seeking a Software Test Engineer to support the Engineering team in El Segundo, CA.
- Develop test plans and write test cases
- Write and run test scripts
- Debug software and tests, both on real hardware and in an emulated environment
- Analyze test results to verify functionality and recommend corrective action upon anomalies
- Manage the Git Lab CI to automatically run the tests
- Other duties as assigned
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Security Clearance And Export Control RequirementsThis position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of software testing experience
- Experience in writing test documents (test plans/procedures, SQA plans)
- Experience writing automated tests
- Experience with Python, C and/or C++
- Experience with git and Git Lab
- Experience with continuous integration
- Excellent analytical, debugging, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
- Experience in designing functional and non-functional test cases that verify requirements and validate functionality
- Experienced in test result evaluation, reporting and metrics
