We work with an equally passionate global cross‑functional team, which is a core part of our design‑led product process.

Mattel Vehicles Packaging Engineering focuses on structuring packaging across Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Thomas & tuku Friend, Disney/Pixar Cars, and more. In this role you certas are involved in the design process (not just the production process ) and possess skill with Artios CAD and 3‑ D modeling such as Solid Works.*.*. You will be a confident individual capable of driving the packaging process with exceptional project management and creative input.

You be a PO user, cooperating across internal design, marketing, product design, project managers, and our counterparts overseas. We encourage innovative thinkers there way to producers, and a go‑ get‑ter. This is a highly creative team tackling content and consumer unboxing experiences.

As a Senior Packaging Engineer, you will design and develop innovative structural packaging solutions to support global product launches, drawing upon technology, materials, and competitive analysis. The ideal candidate must possess the following capabilities:

• Create Alta structures for competitive advantage.
• Design 3D structures that complement and protect complex products.
• Origin package concepts for cost estimate and provide alternative packaging solutions for cost savings.
• Work on many projects concurrently, while adhering to packaging and business schedules.
• Work collaboratively with team members to produce standard engineering drawings and possess familiar single‑layer, multi‑layer paper, plastics, and pulp materials.
• Ideate and express ideas visually and verbally to cross‑functional teams.
• Present ideas, problems, and solutions to management and peers.
• Answer questions quickly during upper‑management meetings.
• Act as liaison and creative engineering partner with our global teams in Asia.
• Participate in various team/department/management meetings requiring strong communication and partnership.
• Support multiple toy fair requirements throughout the year.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3‑5 years of packaging or industrial design experience preferred.
• Highly creative with the ability to develop innovative packaging solutions.
• Knowledge of package manufacturing processes and the ability to generate detailed packaging specifications.
• Experience redesigning package concepts with fresh and innovative value.
• Proficiency in Artios CAD and 3‑D modeling.
• Strong teamwork skills under tight deadlines and building solid relationships.

• Experience originating package concepts for cost estimate and providing alternative solutions and cost savings.
• Current knowledge of competitive products at retail.
