Optical Systems Engineer – Millennium Space Systems

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in engineering or a physical science
• Strong problem‑solving, testing, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage and execute multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient communication and presentation abilities
• U.S. Citizenship is required for obtaining a U.S. Security Clearance

• Design and carry out unit and system‑level optical tests to confirm performance
• Create and execute simulations and models for system/payload performance
• Conduct trade studies to estimate system performance
• Assist in managing supplier and partner performance
• Contribute to internal optical product development initiatives
• Define and validate mission and unit‑level requirements for electro‑optical (EO) sensors and their interfaces
• Perform additional tasks as assigned
