Ground Segment Systems Engineer (Secret clearance)
Join the Vantor team and help the U.S. Space Force develop and deploy the next generation of resilient Missile Warning (MW), Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR), and Environmental Monitoring (EM) capabilities. In this role, you will support a broad spectrum of Systems Engineering and Integration functions, including engaging with multiple performers and government organizations to aid in the delivery and configuration management of Relay Ground Station site engineering, NGG integration, NIO C2 Integration, and MEO/pLEO Integration.
Your functional expertise, communication and collaboration skills, and attention to detail will be vital as you contribute to the acquisition and development of space sensing capabilities.
You must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, Asylee, or Refugee) and currently hold a Secret Clearance. U.S. citizenship is required; employment for cleared roles is contingent upon verification of clearance status. Certain roles may be subject to U.S. export control laws, requiring U.S. person status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
Qualifications- Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s in Science, Engineering, Math or related technical degree
- 6‑7 years Systems Engineer experience, including ground systems
- Experience working with leadership to scope future actions and requirements in a nebulous and chaotic environment
- Strong Systems/Integration Engineer who understands technical baseline of the system and can support tech baseline documentation processes
- Experience with requirements management and Enterprise Resource Board Management
- Availability to work onsite at Los Angeles Air Force Base 2‑3 days weekly and in El Segundo at least 3x per week
- Experience using Model‑Based Systems Engineering approach (CAMEO)
- Experience with physical and virtual networking
- Knowledge of ground systems equipment engineering processes
- Knowledge of missile warning mission and SBIRS
- DoD SCI Clearance
