With key technology milestones underway, they are now looking to appoint a Chief Systems Engineer to help shape and scale their technical vision.

The Role

This is a highly influential leadership position for an experienced systems engineering professional who can oversee complex space programs from early concept through mission operations.

You’ll act as the technical authority across the organization
, guiding system architecture, requirements, integration, and verification while working closely with executive leadership, engineering teams, and external partners in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall technical leadership and system‑level decision‑making
• Define and manage system architecture, requirements, and interfaces
• Ensure successful integration across all space system subsystems
• Balance performance, risk, cost, and schedule throughout development
• Oversee mission performance, safety, and qualification activities
• Support program execution from concept development through operations

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 10+ years’ experience leading space or satellite system development programs
• Proven ability to operate as a technical leader in complex, high‑stakes environments
• Ability and willingness to obtain a U.S. security clearance

Highly Regarded

• Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant engineering or systems discipline
• Experience in startup or rapidly scaling technical organizations
• Strong interest in advancing national security and commercial space capabilities
