**** Within this role, you will develop Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), technical assessments, verification plans, and digital mission and system models for satellite systems and payloads.
** Your functional expertise, communication and collaboration skills, and attention to detail will be vital as you contribute to the acquisition and development of space sensing capabilities.

* Qualifications:

*** Secret clearance
* Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field
* 5+ years of experience performing systems engineering or integration
* Experience in requirements and interface management, including development, decomposition, and traceability
* Experience performing systems engineering for satellite systems
* Experience navigating Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), preparing technical artifacts and presentations, and leading Working Groups (WGs) and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs)
* Experience using management tools such as DOORS, Cameo, or Jama
* Experience using Confluence and Jira
* Knowledge of the Verification and Validation (V&V) lifecycle

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Experience in the Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR), defense weather, and tactical ISR mission areas
* Experience with OPIR payloads, space-based weather payloads, satellite busses, and satellite subsystems, including propulsion, thermal control, power, attitude control, TT&C, communications, data processing, and structures
* Experience leading a team performing systems engineering, integration, and testing on space-based remote sensing systems
* Experience leading a team using a Model-Based Systems Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines
* Experience with digital engineering and model-based systems engineering
