Senior Evolved Strategic Systems (ESS) Program Systems Integration Engineer
Location:
El Segundo, CA (On‑site, secure facility)
- Lead systems engineering and integration activities for next‑generation MILSATCOM systems
- Develop and manage integration strategies across space, ground, crypto, and terminal segments
- Define, manage, and verify technical baselines across multiple stakeholders
- Lead and support technical working groups to resolve risks, issues, and requirement gaps
- Serve as a subject matter expert supporting U.S. Space Force program offices
- Provide technical recommendations and courses of action to support Government decisions
- Analyze system requirements and support verification of technical baselines
- Apply digital engineering methods, including modeling and digital twins
- Support major requirements and design reviews
- Develop briefings, lead discussions, and document action items and meeting outcomes
- Review and assess proposed changes to technical baselines
- Support risk, issue, and dependency management across programs
- Collaborate with Government, contractor, and military stakeholders in a multidisciplinary environment
- Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret
- MS in engineering, computer science, or related technical field
- 15+ years of Systems Engineering experience
- 10+ years leading technical teams
- Experience with MILSATCOM systems (AEHF, PTS, EPS, WGS, FAB‑T) preferred
- Experience working with DoD and military stakeholders
- Strong technical leadership, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience with ground and airborne systems preferred
- Familiarity with Agile development and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
