Computer Aided Design Drafter

Overview

Our Client, a multinational toy manufacturing company is looking for someone to join their team as a CAD Drafter!

This is an onsite 3-month contract with long term potential, that takes place in El Segundo, CA

• Demonstrated CAD drafting skills. Vectorworks is necessary
• Basic design and layout skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Open to learning new design software

• Creating 2D/3D shop drawings, patterns, templates of props and scenery for trade show booths, toy displays, television commercials and photo shoots.
• Design preliminary drawings, convert sketches to renderings, and develop written and verbal information into CAD details and assembly drawings. These CAD drawings support fabrication efforts in our wood, metal and model shops in a fast-paced environment.
