About

The Role

As part of the print design team, you will collaborate with cross‑functional partners on packaging and retail projects. You will contribute to product innovation, product launches, POS, 360 campaigns, press materials, and more. The role requires a keen eye for detail and technical precision, combined with curiosity and creativity to push the boundaries of design.

Functions and duties of this role
  • Collaborate with the design team and cross functional partners to create innovative packaging and retail designs.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new design concepts and strategies.
  • Conduct research on market trends, competitor packaging, and consumer preferences to inform design decisions.
  • Stay updated with industry trends to incorporate the latest design techniques and materials.
  • Contribute to the development of new products, packaging, and retail solutions.
  • Use design software effectively to develop concepts and prepare design files for production.
  • Ensure designs meet brand guidelines and technical specifications, making necessary revisions.
  • Assist in creating prototypes and mock‑ups for review and testing.
  • Support senior designers with project management tasks, such as coordinating with vendors, tracking progress, and compiling documentation.
  • Prepare and manage digital files for production, ensuring color accuracy and adherence to technical specifications.
  • Review physical samples, proofing, and press checks to ensure asset quality.
  • Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in design proofs.
  • Develop renderings to bring packaging and visual merchandising to life for approval.
  • Present designs to internal leadership teams for feedback and approval.
  • Interface with manufacturers and vendors to communicate desired outcomes and lead solutions that uphold brand aesthetics.
  • Quickly revise work based on internal feedback and performance results.
  • Communicate and articulate design concepts visually and verbally.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Maintain a high level of detail and organization in all aspects of the design process.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in art/design preferred.
  • 5+ years of design experience required, including packaging and retail design.
