Savage X Fenty is looking for a Photo/Video Art Director.

How do you fit in?

This position plays an integral role in the visual execution of all image content at Savage X Fenty. The Photo Art Director is aligned with Creative and Brand Marketing goals to ensure all image content meets brand standards. You are an experienced Art Director who has developed a strong creative sensibility and can provide meaningful direction on set and with editors in post-production.

You’re an excellent communicator and planner, knowledgeable in photography production from end to end, and have enough understanding of brand marketing for site, email, and social, to execute creative needs for these channels.

This position will report to VP of Creative.

What you will do:

• Direct all model on-figure Editorial, eCommerce and ACQ, Ghost Form, and ACQ laydown imagery in collaboration with the Lead Stylist on set.
• Make initial selects, mark up notes, and oversee and approve retouching for all figure eCommerce and ACQ, Ghost Form, and ACQ laydown imagery.
• Oversee the process for image post-production in collaboration with retouchers and asset managers.
• Collaborate with VP Creative on Model Selection for all on-figure eCommerce imagery.
• Support VP Creative on any creative concepting for model Editorial shoots, and assist with image selects and retouching oversight as needed.
• Attend production meetings regarding eCommerce and ACQ still life and on-figure shoots, cascading information to VP Creative.
• Maintain and oversee style guidelines for on-figure and ghost form imagery on all eCommerce and ACQ shoot content.
• Collaborate with graphic designers on ad-hoc photography needed for design projects.
• Work with producers and VP Creative to adapt shoot schedules based on last-minute high priority project updates, providing solutions for executing creative needs with efficiency and speed.
• Manage and work closely with Associate Art Director, Asset Manager and Post Production to finalize and share content across departments.

What you can bring:

• 5+ years of experience in on-set photo art direction (retail/fashion product art direction preferred).
• B.A degree in Communication Design or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Capture One, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe XD.
• Strong on-set studio product photo art direction experience.
• Strong design aesthetic and judgment with particular attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with photographers, stylists, retouchers, and art directors.
• Understanding of design/composition and photography best practices and guidelines.
• Understanding of on-set etiquette.
• The ability to collaborate and manage project timelines across internal teams.
• The ability to adhere to brand standards and evolve the brand identity when appropriate.
• Self-motivated team player, detail-oriented, and organized.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $120,000 to $130,000. The range provided includes the base salary that Savage X Fenty expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate’s related work experience, subject matter expertise, and work location.
