Demand Planning Manager

Position Overview

Smarty Pants is seeking a forward‑thinking, analytical, and collaborative Demand Planning Manager to join our fast‑growing business. In this strategic role, you will lead the integration of advanced analytics, digital tools, and cross‑functional processes to deliver accurate demand forecasts and drive business growth. You will be a key member of the Operations group and will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Planning, and Product Development to ensure our inventory strategy supports key customer accounts and company objectives.

• Lead Monthly demand planning and S&OP process and ensure alignment across Sales, Supply, Finance, and Operations.
• Develop and maintain rolling forecasts using advanced analytics, statistical models, and digital demand planning platforms.
• Collaborate with cross functional partners in sales, marketing, and finance to integrate market intelligence, new product launches, and promotional activities into demand plans.
• Measure & Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as MAPE, WAPE, and Bias. Support other key operational metrics such as customer fill rate and on‑time ship.
• Implement and Optimize demand planning tools leveraging AI/MO for forecasting and scenario planning.
• Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and process.

• Bachelor’s degree in a Business‑related field preferred.
• 3‑5+ Years’ experience in demand planning, supply chain, or related fields.
• Advanced proficiency in Planning software (Kinaxis, Anaplan, APO, etc.) and ERP systems (D365, Oracle, SAP).
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and drive cross‑functional alignment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Experience implementing or optimizing demand planning tools and processes.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and organizational/time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all personality types and behaviors; flexibility.

The pay range for this position is $ - $. Smarty Pants Vitamins takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. This position is bonus eligible. Smarty Pants Vitamins employees are eligible to participate in our benefits plan.
