Job Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as inventory, logistics, and HR to support accounting processes.
- Assist with audits by preparing schedules and responding to external auditor requests.
- Support financial reporting and provide analysis for management as needed.
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience in a mid-sized or large organization.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Comfortable mentoring junior staff and collaborating across departments.
- Experience preparing tax filings and supporting compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with cost accounting and manufacturing environments.
