Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a motivated Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in El Segundo, California. This position involves supporting daily financial operations, including cash handling, payables, and guest service inquiries. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with cash application and reconciliation processes to ensure accurate financial records.

- Support accounts payable tasks, including invoice processing and timely payments.

- Handle guest service calls, addressing inquiries related to billing and payments with professionalism.

- Post account adjustments and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.

- Investigate discrepancies in financial data and resolve issues promptly.

- Maintain adherence to established accounting procedures and company policies.

- Collaborate with team members to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.

- Utilize accounting software tools, such as Quick Books, to manage and process financial data. Requirements - Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and other accounting software.

- Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and speed.

- Familiarity with invoice processing and financial reconciliation.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work onsite in El Segundo, California, and maintain a consistent work schedule.

- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

- Basic understanding of financial principles and procedures.
