Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $95,000 to $130,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and provide insights to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
  • Resolve timely and accurate filing of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
Qualifications/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or Finance.
  • 5-7 years of accounting and management experience in a dynamic, high growth environment. Prior Accounting Manager or Controller experience preferred.
  • Payroll processing and compliance (ADP payroll ) and MS Office Suite (Advance Excel).
  • Prior experience in federal contracting and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) compliance preferred.
  • Maintain and administer Company Accounting Policy and Controls
  • Excellent communication skills, including communication to the executive level.
  • Ability to drive process improvements and change management.
  • Experience in managing month-end and year-end close processes.
