Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support our warehouse operations. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of shipments, receipts, and inventory control while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

• Prepare and complete orders for shipment according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, and ship).
• Receive incoming materials and verify the accuracy of packing slips and related documentation.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Verify and record quantities of materials received or shipped.
• Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics teams to meet deadlines and maintain productivity standards.
• Assist with inventory control, including conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
• Ensure proper placement and tracking of materials within the warehouse.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and handling materials.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Complete all shipping and receiving documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Report any damages, shortages, or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English).
• Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
