Utility Worker/Service Employee

Transdev in El Paso, TX is hiring a Utility Worker/Service Employee. The position requires performing basic vehicle servicing duties and focuses on customer service and safety.

  : $13.75 - $17.00 per hour
• Vacation: minimum of two 2‑week periods

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles – interior and exterior
• Drive, maneuver, and park vehicles
• Fuel buses, replenish fluids, and log all fluid usage
• Download drive cameras, probes, and fare boxes
• Perform light maintenance of shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor
• Other duties as required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid CDL License Class A or B
• Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical examination (DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40)

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions – 100% of the job
• Work alone and in remote locations
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances and possibly over sloped, slippery or uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to 30 pounds; lift material up to 50 lbs with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel or crouch to retrieve items at ground level
• Withstand heavy traffic and exposure to dust, vehicle fumes and noise

• Eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.)
• Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screen
