Maintenance Trades Helper; AD MHE; SCA), Fort Bliss, TX

Technica LLC seeks to recruit for the position of Maintenance Trades Helper on a Government contract with a place of performance at El Paso TX.

The Maintenance Trades Helper will assist Material Handling Equipment operational teams in the upload/download of equipment operations by performing specific or general duties of lesser skill such as:

• Perform Ground Guiding
• Performing Road Guard duties for operation support
• Be able attain a military license to drive a GSA to areas of operations
• Be able to perform Preventative Maintenance Check Services on equipment
• Keeping the HEO team supplied with materials and tools, cleaning working area, machine, and equipment assisting heavy equipment operator by holding materials or tools
• Perform other unskilled tasks as directed by journeyman.

The kind of work the helper is permitted to perform varies from trade to trade. In some trades the helper is confined to supplying, lifting, and holding materials and tools, and cleaning working areas and in others, the worker is permitted to perform specialized machine operations, or parts of a trade that are also performed by workers on a full-time basis.

• Must have at least one year's experience in a relevant field
• US Citizen
• High school diploma or equivalent 18 years of age
• Valid state driver's license.
• Eligible for and be able to obtain a U.S. Government motor vehicle operator's permit for assigned class of vehicle.
• Lift on an occasional basis a maximum of 70 pounds with the frequent constant lifting of 40 pounds.
• Must be able to climb in and out of military vehicles and related equipment.
• Must be able to stand for at least two continuous hours.
• Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions to include intense heat, heavy wind, blowing sand, heavy rain, and snow and sleet.

• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks related to the position.
