Job Overview
Position: Commercial Maintenance Technician
Location: Paso, TX
Shift: Mon – Fri 1st Shift
Employment: 3-Month Contract
Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience
Company vehicle, tools, and mobile technology will be provided to perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance across a range of building systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance based on work orders and service schedules
- Troubleshoot and repair building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general facilities maintenance
- Conduct minor plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, valves, sensors, drains)
- Perform minor electrical repairs as permitted by state regulations (fixtures, switches, outlets, lighting components)
- Complete drywall repair, painting, flooring, door, wall, and cosmetic repairs to maintain facilities in “like-new” condition
- Conduct service inspections and asset condition assessments
- Prepare estimates for larger maintenance or repair projects
- Maintain accurate documentation using mobile devices (work orders, service reports, photos, time and expense reporting)
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal support teams to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Adhere to OSHA standards, safety protocols, and compliance training requirements
- Travel locally between customer sites as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma, trade certification, or equivalent professional experience
- 2–5 years of hands‑on commercial maintenance experience across multiple trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting)
- Experience supporting commercial buildings or facilities strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
- Ability to safely perform maintenance tasks in compliance with OSHA and regulatory standards
- Proficiency with mobile devices, work order systems, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and time‑management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high service standards
