What you’ll do

You will provide outstanding customer service and take responsibility for the ongoing maintenance needed for our growing customer base. As a Pool Repair Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing all components within all pool and spa equipment areas. Pool experience is preferred but we provide continuing education and training.

• Diagnose pool equipment problems and repair or replace the same
• Utilize your advanced knowledge in water chemistry and pool finish issues
• Service and repair Automation Systems, Pumps, Filters, Underwater Lighting, and Heating Systems
• Troubleshoot and repair Jandy, Pentair, and Hayward pool components

Other job-related duties as assigned

What we are looking for

Do you enjoy meeting new people and enjoy working outdoors? Our team of Pool Repair Technicians will travel within a designated area and visit various commercial and residential locations and work independently most of the time but interact with a diverse team.

You should have

• A valid driver's license and insurable
• Ability to pass a background check
• An outgoing, positive-minded, and confident personality
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• No experience is necessary, we will train the right candidates

Nice to have, but not required Pool Service Skills

• Leak diagnosis and repair experience
• Troubleshooting, Repairing and Installing the following: pumps, filters, heat pumps, gas heaters, chemical feeders, chlorine generators, underwater lighting, and automation systems
• Knowledge and experience in using a voltmeter/multimeter
• Advanced Water chemistry and analysis

And even better if you have, but not required, Advanced Trade Skills/Experience

• HVAC
• High and Low Voltage Electrical
• Plumbing
• Natural and Propane Gas
• Underwater swimming and/or scuba experience/certification
• CDL
• Network or Wi-Fi troubleshooting experience

You will also need to

• Lift, move and otherwise maneuver heavy, physical objects
• Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; stand, walk, climb or balance; occasionally sit, as well as work in tight places.
