Vigilant Protection Services is seeking highly alert, licensed (level3)
Armed Security Guards to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and the public. You will play a critical role in deterring threats, responding to incidents, and enforcing property rules.
This role requires professionalism, strong judgment under pressure, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities- Protect life and property by maintaining a visible presence and conducting regular patrols
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies in a calm and effective manner
- Monitor access control points
- Deter criminal activity through strong situational awareness and professional conduct
- Enforce client-specific rules and regulations on site
- Complete incident and shift reports accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Maintain weapon readiness and follow all firearm safety procedures and state laws
- Monitor entrance/exit to ensure property does not exceed capacity.
- Must possess a valid Security Officer license (per state requirements)
- Valid firearm permit and proof of current firearms training/certification
- Prior law enforcement, military, or security experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent judgment, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Must be able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and availability to work assigned shifts (including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- There will be weekends with no shifts, weekly schedule provided.
- Friday through Sunday(when needed) 6pm-1am.
- Sunday 10:30am-3:30pm.
- Hourly pay rate $14
