Medical Device Sales Associate Territory Account Manager
At Tactile Medical, we specialize in developing at-home therapy devices to treat lymphedema, chronic venous insufficiency and respiratory illnesses.
The Associate Territory Account Manager is responsible for selling Tactile Medical devices and educating physicians, clinicians and patients on our medical devices that are clinically proven to improve the quality of life for Lymphedema patients.
Responsibilities- Conduct full‑cycle consultative sales (prospecting, scheduling & meeting attendance, product demonstrations, in‑service, closing and follow‑up).
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists and other clinicians to increase awareness and educate on the Flexitouch System and other products and services offered by Tactile Medical.
- Provide in‑home product demonstrations for patients and assist them with questions.
- Assist the Territory Account Manager with sales strategies and execution to surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Provide customer support through training and education in disease state, treatment protocols, reimbursement requirements, etc.
- Comply with all appropriate regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combined education and work experience (4 years).
- 1+ years of outside sales/inside sales experience OR 2+ years of patient‑facing clinical experience OR 1+ years of Tactile Medical patient‑facing or sales support work experience.
- Outside sales experience with in‑person product demonstrations.
- Clinical experience working directly with lymphedema patients such as a Nurse, CLT, PTA, PT, OT, OTA, etc.
- Demonstrated success interacting with Tactile Medical patients, customers, and clinicians.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
- Strong sales “close” experience and mentality, including persuasiveness, assertiveness and persistence.
- Resourceful self‑starter.
- Ability to travel/drive within the territory as well as outside the territory for conferences, trainings, etc.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds.
Below is the starting salary or hourly range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job‑specific knowledge, skills and experience.
