$15.25 to $22.40 per hour.

We are seeking a Store Manager Trainee with a minimum of 6+ months of store management experience. The trainee will be responsible for day‑to‑day store operations, employee leadership, recruitment, financial analysis, and customer satisfaction. This role partners with the Store Manager to build a customer‑centric environment, meet financial targets, and grow the business. The position offers an hourly wage, store manager‑level commissions, and a performance bonus.
Responsibilities- Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues promptly.
- Assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, including cash drawer and merchandise counts, and ensure all procedures protect assets.
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
- Administer store processes and procedures, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and enterprise reporting.
- Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal‑setting.
- Maintain operating standards that meet or exceed First Cash guidelines.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to preserve loan integrity.
- Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development.
- Communicate clearly with employees to align them with store objectives.
- Stay current on product knowledge.
- Act as Manager on Duty in the Manager’s absence.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willing and able to perform tasks for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
- Demonstrated supervisory ability.
- Ability to work with firearms and obtain certification.
- Potential to assist customers outside the building and retrieve products from external storage.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Flexibility to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Will work 45+ hours per week (hours based on business needs).
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and office machines.
- Strong multi‑tasking skills in a fast‑paced environment.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Analytical skills.
- Proficient cash handling experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.
