Description
$13.00 to $22.40 per hour. This role is designed for external retail assistant managers and store managers interested in fast‑tracking into a Store Management position. Minimum of 1 year retail management experience. Retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, averaging an additional $8.40 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking a Store Manager Trainee with a minimum of six months of store management experience. The trainee is accountable for daily operations, promotes a positive and productive environment, works with a Store Manager to lead and develop staff, recruit and retain talent, and drive financial goals. The role also involves analyzing financial statements, maintaining asset protection, meeting customer satisfaction, and supporting marketing and customer acquisition.
Hourly wage plus commission based on productivity and a bonus tied to store performance. Pay varies by location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities of a Store Management Trainee- Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers and addressing issues.
- Monitor and assist in training of store associates to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent through company‑prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, ensuring all procedures are followed.
- Ensure asset protection via inventory control, safety procedures, and documentation.
- Administer store processes: inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, systems, reporting.
- Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through goal setting.
- Maintain operating standards to meet or exceed First Cash standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes.
- Complete assigned training and tasks for self‑development.
- Communicate clearly with employees about mission and profit objectives.
- Stay up‑to‑date on product knowledge.
- Act as manager on duty when Store Manager absent.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. li>Willing and able to stand, stoop, walk, climb, push, pull, and lift for extended periods.
- Demonstrated supervisory ability.
- Must be able to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
- Must assist customers outside building or retrieve items in parking/ storage areas.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to work in multiple locations.
- Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Work 45+ hours per week (hours not guaranteed).
- Computer literate; able to operate POS and office machines.
- Strong multitasking, organizational, analytical skills.
- Cash handling experience required.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong work ethic and business sense.
Employee commission incentive plan is proprietary. Store Manager Trainees can earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Applicants receive detailed information during interview.
