• Must be energetic with excellent verbal communication skills.
• Must be 16 years of age or older per policy.
• Must be able to complete sales transactions in the register system.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, which may include the closing shift, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to spend up to 100% of the working time standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.

The Sales Associate is responsible for driving sales while ensuring each customer has an exciting and enjoyable experience. The Sales Associate brings a positive attitude and service mentality to every interaction in an effort to delight the Mad Rag shopper.

• Support the customer service initiative through the ASSIST program.
• Consistently create a welcoming environment as customers enter or exit the store.
• Immediately respond to customer inquiries and needs.
• Proactively seek opportunities to deliver a great customer experience.
• Use basic selling techniques to engage with the customer.
• Introduce current sales, promotions, loyalty program, and other brand initiatives.
• Follow the Company’s Customer FIRST model (Friendly Greeting, Identifying Needs, Responding, Suggesting and Styling, and Thanking).
• Complete sales transactions and maintain proper accountability at registers.
• Demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and ownership in every interaction.
• Maintain visual standards for the selling floor, fitting rooms, visual displays, and presentations.
• Assist in daily store recovery before, during, or after store opening hours.
• Adapt to an environment that changes quickly while managing multiple tasks.

Shift: Must be flexible including weekends and holidays.
