El Paso Behavioral Health System is a private 167‑bed psychiatric hospital located in El Paso, Texas, specializing in mental‑health and chemical‑dependency care. We provide a wide range of evidence‑based inpatient, day‑hospital and outpatient services designed to support and compassionately care for patients of all ages.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is an active member of the treatment team, delivering continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role‑modeling to patients ranging from five years of age through geriatrics, depending on the unit assigned. CNAs work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and assist with patient mobility, hygiene, feeding, and the documentation of care activities.

• Education:
  
  High School diploma or equivalent;
  Certified Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Experience:
  
  Two (2) years of related experience in psychiatric patient care; knowledge of mental illness and treatment techniques preferred.
• Additional requirements:
  
  Successful completion of Handle With Care Training within 90 days of employment, ability to assist with restraining procedures, and current CPR certification. Overtime, certain holidays, and weekend work may be required.
