Infusion Registered Nurse RN IVIG Therapy

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Home Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to provide IVIG (Intravenous Immunoglobulin) infusions for stable outpatient patients in the El Paso area. This part-time opportunity offers flexible scheduling, autonomy, and meaningful one-on-one patient care in a home setting.

The nurse will deliver safe, high-quality infusion therapy while working independently with support from a clinical coordination team and specialty pharmacy partner.

• Administer IVIG and other specialty infusions per provider orders and established protocols
• Perform pre-, intra-, and post-infusion patient assessments
• Monitor for adverse reactions and respond appropriately
• Initiate and manage IV access, including peripheral lines, PICCs, and ports
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, medications, and home care
• Accurately document all clinical care in compliance with regulatory and professional standards
• Communicate effectively with nursing coordination and pharmacy teams to ensure safe care delivery

Required

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or Compact State
• Minimum 1 year of recent IV infusion or acute care nursing experience
• Strong IV skills, including vascular access and infusion pump operation
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance

Preferred

• Prior IVIG or home infusion therapy experience
• CRNI® certification or infusion-related specialty credential
