Travel Nursing (RN or LVN)

OPCO Skilled Management is currently hiring for Travel Nursing positions (RN or LVN) at our facility in Alamogordo.

Location: Alamogordo
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks (possible renewal)
Shift: 12 hours
Pay rate: $35.00–$40.00 per hour for LVN, $45.00–$50.00 per hour for RN
Job type: Travel (Full-time)

• Ensure delivery of high‑quality, positive clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction during supervisory shift.
• Serve as a resource to all staff within the facility regarding the quality of services provided.
• Provide direct resident care when required; administer medications and treatments timely and in accordance with facility policy; receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders, if allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Effectively manage nursing personnel on shift to limit use of overtime and agency personnel.
• Assess the work performance of nursing staff as it relates to unit standards of care and goals.
• Conduct regular staff meetings on each shift and provide updates to the Director of Nursing.

• Graduate of an approved Licensed Vocational program and licensed in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (required by state).
• Multi‑state licensees welcome. New graduates will be trained.
