Aggregates And Asphalt Plant Operator

Main Responsibilities

• Perform walk‑around and site inspections for all equipment to identify and correct unsafe conditions.
• Responsible for preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is properly maintained and serviced as needed.
• Manage day‑to‑day functions of the plant.
• Perform opening, start‑up, and shutdown of the plant.
• Daily inspection of the entire plant facility.
• Maintain thorough working knowledge of the computer/batching system.
• Monitor inventory levels of all mix materials.
• Monitor production levels and adjust production as needed.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 2 or more years of Plant Operator experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of office systems, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining tight deadlines.
• Ability to perform moderately complex mathematical calculations as needed.
• Demonstrate excellent safety awareness and a willingness to comply with company policies and safety standards.
