Shipping and Receiving Specialist - Level 4 (2nd Shift) Job Description
As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist - Level 4 (2nd Shift) here at Honeywell
, you will play a crucial role in the efficient management of shipping and receiving operations. You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining a smooth flow of materials. Your work directly impacts the timely delivery of products and contributes to the success of our organization.
You will report directly to our Shipping and Receiving Manager and you'll work out of our El Paso, TX location on a full-time, on-site work schedule.
2nd shift is 3:30pm - 12:00am with optional Overtime
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain by ensuring the accurate and timely movement of goods. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will contribute to the smooth flow of materials and the prevention of delays or errors. Your work will directly impact the success and competitiveness of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to verify contents and quality.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any shipping or receiving issues.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Responsibilities- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to maintain accuracy
- Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs paperwork
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any shipping or receiving issues
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Utilize inventory management systems to track and monitor shipments
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- At least 4 years of experience in shipping and receiving or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes and procedures.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Familiarity with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
