POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is pivotal in supporting our US Warfighters and the Ability One program, Contributing to Ready One Industries Mission. Operates non-sewing machine or other manual tools to press, mark, turn / pick, cut, measure, trim, inspect, snap setting, punching, marking and other jobs.

• Develop and implement strategies that ensure operational activities align with Ready One's cultural behaviors of accountability, diversity, honesty, collaboration, empathy, innovation, passion, and effective communication.
• Adhere to and execute company policies and procedures while driving continuous improvement across all operational processes
• Must meet Ability One requirements to participate in program.
• Press knee or heel lever depresses pedal or moves hand lever to activate equipment.
• Position parts to be joined under presser foot and lowers presser foot or uses hand tools to perform operations such as marking, cut apart, turn / pick, cut and measure, snap setting, punching, and/or trim and inspect.
• Start, stop, and control speed of machine with pedal or knee lever when required.
• Cut excess thread or material using hand tools when required.
• Must follow all safety rules.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Experience: Some knowledge of industrial sewing machine operations preferred but not required, such as single or double needle etc.

  Must be able to follow verbal or written instructions.

  Good mechanical aptitude to be able to make machine adjustments.

• Occasionally stands and walks.
• Frequently sits. Continuously gasps.
• Must be able to lift/move up to 5 pounds.
