Volt is immediately hiring Wiring Associates for a global manufacturing company in El Paso, TX.
As a Wiring Associate
, you will:
- Performs wiring assembly operation on one job (from pre‑arranged kit)
- Assemble moderately to complex electro‑mechanical products
- Assemble custom switchboard cabinetry - medium to large sized parts
- Read complex prints and schematics
- Troubleshoot, fabricate and install parts
- Utilizes a variety of hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment to complete job
This is a full‑time opportunity.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday (flexible to work OT on Saturday)
1st Shift: 6am - 2:30pm
2nd Shift: 3:30pm - 12am
The ideal candidate will have- High School Diploma or GED
- 2‑3 years previous Assembly experience
- Experience reading prints and schematics
- Ability to work independently
- Expertise with basic hand tools, air tools, gages and torque wrenches required
- Good hand‑eye coordination and excellent natural or corrected vision
- Understanding of electrical principles and UL Requirements is highly desired
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to work Overtime is required
- Pre‑employment physical is required
1st shift - $16.00 per hour
2nd shift - $17.25 per hour
