Monday through Friday from 6am to 2:30pm. Overtime after shift and on Saturdays depending on business needs.

Job Summary:

Lucchese Boots are the highest quality cowboy boots in the industry. The Naumkeg position plays a vital role in the quality of a boot. Naumkeg is responsible for sanding the bottom of the boot, therefore quality, and precision is vital on this process. In addition, this position will be aligned with Lucchese values, consistent policy administration and a safe work environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

All responsibilities mentioned below can be modified but not limited based on the company's needs.

• Receive a rack full of boots.
• Remove one boot at a time from the rack.
• Stand in front of the Naumkeg sanding machine.
• Hold the boot under the sanding machine and use light pressure to move the boot under the sanding machine in a back and forward motion.
• Sand using two different grades of sandpaper.
• Push the rack to the next staging area once all boots have been sanded.
• Responsible for proper use of machine and changing the sand belt pads.
• Must meet the required goal for the day.
• Give minimal maintenance to machine.
• Notify supervisor when machine needs additional maintenance.
• Always keep the work area clean.
• Assist other working areas as necessary.
• Required Skills/Abilities:
• Training: Open to learn and perform cross training in different areas.
• Communicating: Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing and maintain confidentiality.
• Leadership: Ability to lead by example and obtain support from co-workers and work independently and as part of a team.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects. Ability to work in a fast-paced/stressed environment while maintaining safety. Ability to perform all job functions in adherence to Lucchese philosophy and values, policies as well as the Safety standards and responsibility for housekeeping in the assigned area.
