The mission of CPLC’s Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) is to promote the health, well-being, and stability of refugees, unaccompanied alien children, and other eligible individuals and families through culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based services. HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?As the Office Manager
, you will provide comprehensive administrative support, organizational coordination, and project management to the Program Director and Department Leads
, as applicable, within a fast-paced, urgent, and high-accountability shelter environment.
You will help ensure day-to-day operations run efficiently by managing administrative processes, supporting leadership priorities, maintaining compliance, and serving as a key point of coordination across teams. Your work will directly contribute to the shelter’s ability to deliver consistent, high-quality services in alignment with ORR standards and CPLC’s mission.

. You communicate clearly, manage competing priorities with confidence, and understand the importance of confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive settings. You are comfortable supporting leadership, coordinating logistics, and keeping operations moving smoothly—even when things move quickly.
- 2-year associate’s degree from accredited program/institution. 2+ years’ experience with ORR as an office manager will be considered in lieu of education.
- Preferred - Bachelor degree from accredited program/institution.
- 1 year of supervisory/administrative experience as an office manager.
- Preferred - 3 years supervisory/administrative experience as an office manager.
- Maintain current licenses and certificates required for the position including but not limited to.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
- Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
- Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English (and Spanish strongly preferred).
- Maintain computer literacy required to meet responsibilities of the position.
- Highly proficient in Office programs such as:
Google suites, excel, word, and power point.
