Position Summary:
The Lead General Maintenance Technician serves as the senior field technician supporting facilities maintenance operations across assigned locations. This role provides hands-on technical leadership, coordinates daily maintenance activities, and supports effective execution of preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance work.

This role supports a potential contract.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and lead daily maintenance activities across assigned facilities
• Provide technical guidance and task direction to General Maintenance Technicians
• Perform advanced troubleshooting across building systems
• Support response to emergency and urgent maintenance events
• Assist with planning and sequencing preventive and corrective maintenance
• Coordinate material needs for assigned work, including parts pickup and delivery
• Support vendor access and field coordination as required
• Ensure work is completed safely and documented accurately in the work order system

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 7+ years of facilities maintenance experience
• Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating maintenance staff
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trade certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
• Experience in government, federal, or mission-critical facilities
• CMMS or electronic work order experience
