Associate Attorney

Overview

We are seeking a driven and experienced Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join our growing litigation team. The ideal candidate will be a Texas-licensed attorney with demonstrated success in handling complex personal injury litigation, including pre-suit investigation, discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiation, and trial preparation.

• Manage a personal injury caseload from inception through resolution, focusing on complex litigation matters
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
• Lead written discovery, take and defend depositions, and participate in case strategy meetings
• Engage in pre-trial preparation, including evidentiary hearings and trial exhibits
• Effectively negotiate with defense counsel and insurance carriers to secure favorable settlements
• Maintain clear, high-touch communication with clients, experts, and support staff
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case development
• Represent clients in court, including hearings, mediations, and trials

Required:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice in Texas in good standing
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in complex personal injury litigation with a track record of litigation involvement (depositions, hearings, negotiations, trials)
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
• Professional demeanor and commitment to client-centered representation

Preferred:

• Experience with catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases
• Trial experience and comfort in courtroom advocacy
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
