Personal Injury Associate Attorney

El Paso, TX

Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and experienced Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join our growing litigation team. The ideal candidate will be a Texas‑licensed attorney with demonstrated success in handling complex personal injury litigation, including pre‑suit investigation, discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiation, and trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a personal injury caseload from inception through resolution, focusing on complex litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda.
  • Lead written discovery, take and defend depositions, and participate in case strategy meetings.
  • Engage in pre‑trial preparation, including evidentiary hearings and trial exhibits.
  • Effectively negotiate with defense counsel and insurance carriers to secure favorable settlements.
  • Maintain clear, high‑touch communication with clients, experts, and support staff.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case development.
  • Represent clients in court, including hearings, mediations, and trials.
Qualifications

Required:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice in Texas in good standing.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in complex personal injury litigation with a track record of litigation involvement (depositions, hearings, negotiations, trials).
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to client‑centered representation.
Preferred:
  • Experience with catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases.
  • Trial experience and comfort in courtroom advocacy.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
