OA/Infrastructure Engineer

The OA/Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the implementation and support of IT office automation (OA) and infrastructure systems at the server manufacturing plant. This role ensures the reliability, scalability, and security of end‑user devices, printers, accounts and servers. The OA/Infra Engineer will also provide technical expertise to support operations, troubleshoot issues and engage vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and office automation tools.
  • Support and manage plant‑level OA systems (e.g., email, collaboration platforms, Microsoft 365, document management systems).
  • Administer and troubleshoot Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, and enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with Network Engineers to ensure stability and security of LAN/WAN/WLAN connectivity.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in compliance with company security policies.
  • Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures for OA and infrastructure systems.
  • Provide IT support for end‑users, addressing hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor system performance and capacity; recommend improvements to maximize uptime and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Document infrastructure architecture, procedures, and maintenance logs.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to integrate IT systems with plant operations and server production systems.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, or helpdesk, preferably in a manufacturing or data center environment.
  • Experience with Windows/Linux system administration, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and VMware/Hyper‑V.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and enterprise IT support frameworks.
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge in Windows 11 and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Experience managing enterprise collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and ability to collaborate with network teams.
  • Knowledge of IT security principles and hands‑on experience with patching, antivirus, and endpoint protection.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools for system and application performance.
Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with both technical and non‑technical teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong documentation skills.
Essential Functions (ADA & Workers’ Comp Ready)
  • Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. of IT equipment when necessary.
  • Capability to access plant IT/server rooms, which may require bending, kneeling, or climbing short ladders.
  • Clear verbal and written communication to support user training and technical documentation.
Work Environment
  • Climate‑controlled warehouse/assembly facility.
  • Frequent interaction with production lines and warehouse areas.
  • Frequent walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and interaction with warehouse and production teams.
