Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for Food & Beverage (F&B) Lead. F&B Leads are responsible for welcoming our guests and setting the tone for a positive and fun environment for all to enjoy. El Paso is home to themed water parks with water slides, climbing walls, lazy rivers, kiddie playgrounds and leisure pools.

Position Summary:

This position reports to the Food & Beverage Supervisor and Management with responsibilities to assist in all areas of Food & Beverage. This role coordinates and assists with all departments of El Paso Water Parks and ensures operations are efficient, safe, and sanitary. Daily paperwork submission and daily or monthly inventory are required, while maintaining smooth daily operations.

• Food handling and preparation for concession and private events.
• Prepare food in a safe and presentable manner following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Ensure completion of condiment dispensers, wipe down surfaces, wash dishes, and keep all areas clean and safe for guests.
• Maintain standards of food quality.
• Care, cleaning, and upkeep of issued equipment.
• Assist F&B supervisor to oversee a team of 8+ food & beverage staff members daily.
• Assist as needed to relay and complete food orders.
• Participate in service training programs for safety and customer service.
• Report irregularities, discrepancies, damage, loss of property, and safety concerns promptly to supervisor.
• Stay current with all training policies and procedures.
• Enforce El Paso Water Parks & Legends Global safety standards.
• Complete all required company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.
• Adhere to company standards and maintain compliance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain high standards, positive attitude, and professional appearance.
• Follow and enforce all sanitation procedures including safety guidelines and OSHA requirements.
• Attend staff meetings and develop harmonious working relationships with other departments.
• Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Review checklists to ensure they have been completed and reviewed by the supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as assigned and stay current with training policies and procedures such as in-services within the department.
• Ability to conduct or assist Food & Beverage supervisor audits within the department.
• Assist Supervisor with daily or monthly inventory counts of all kitchen items.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
• Knowledge of food and beverage practices and procedures preferred.
• Must be able to obtain or have a current Food Handler’s license certificate.
• Desire to work outdoors during all weather types to ensure a wonderful guest experience.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Operate a computer using basic skills and other standard office equipment preferred.

• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• This position requires stooping and lifting, substantial walking and manual dexterity. Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in an area where high heat may be used for cooking or cleaning purposes.
