Food and Beverage Team Member of El Paso Water Parks

Position Summary

This position reports to the Food & Beverage Lead and the Food & Beverage Supervisor. Responsibilities include assisting in all areas of Food & Beverage, coordinating with all departments of El Paso Water Parks, ensuring operations are effective, timely, safe, and sanitary, submitting daily paperwork, managing inventory, and maintaining smooth everyday operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional guest service by creating a fun, friendly, safe environment.
  • Handle and prepare food for concession and private events.
  • Prepare food safely and presentably following Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
  • Refill condiment dispensers, wipe down surfaces, wash dishes, and maintain cleanliness and safety.
  • Maintain food quality standards.
  • Caring for, cleaning, and maintaining issued equipment.
  • Work with a team to relay food orders as needed.
  • Participate in service training programs for safety and customer service.
  • Report irregularities, discrepancies, damage, loss of property, and safety concerns promptly to supervisor.
  • Complete all required company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.
  • Adhere to company standards and maintain compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Maintain high standards, a positive attitude, and a professional appearance.
  • Attend staff meetings and develop harmonious relationships with all departments.
  • Review all checklists with the supervisor to ensure completion.
  • Follow and enforce all sanitation procedures, safety guidelines, and OSHA requirements.

  • Enforce El Paso Water Parks & Legends Global safety standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Stay current with all training policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage practices and procedures preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain or have a current Food Handler’s license certificate.
  • Desire to work outdoors in all weather conditions to ensure a wonderful experience for guests.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Minimum Education & Experience
  • Working toward a High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Computer Skills
  • Operate a computer using basic skills and other standard office equipment preferred.

  • Requires stooping and lifting, substantial walking, and manual dexterity. Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Must work in an area where high heat may be used for cooking or cleaning.
