Job DescriptionPurpose:
Execute brand strategy and tactics in field, manage sales performance, build strong customer relationships and focus patient-centered solutions while operating within Abb Vie's business code of conduct.
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives to meet or exceed objectives.
- Create pre-call plan objectives and execute post-call evaluation to continuously improve sales performance, handle objections, and close sales calls.
- Proactively serve customer needs, build trusted relationships, and achieve win‑win agreements between Abb Vie and customers.
- Develop and execute a call plan that optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities.
- Continuously analyze customer needs, market landscape, competitors, roles, and share market intelligence with internal teams to align strategy.
- Differentiate Abb Vie’s value proposition with health providers, develop disease‑state experts and advocates to maximize brand performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business‑related field preferred; equivalent industry experience required.
- Five (5) years of experience with at least three (3) years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry; high school diploma/GED required.
- In‑depth knowledge of science, therapeutics, products, and competition, and strong business acumen with strategic thinking.
- Proactive customer‑centric and ability to adapt selling style to multiple stakeholders.
- Leadership skills, collaboration, and experience in a matrix environment.
- Preferred:
Proven track record of sales performance in therapeutic areas, pharmaceutical industry experience. - English language proficiency, verbal and written.
- Must maintain all applicable health‑care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements.
