The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for assistance with agency quality and analytical data needs. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor and will be assigned tasks related to data collection and aggregation, facilitation of agency reports, Electronic Health Record (EHR) system updates and management and assistance with all quality assurance initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Participate in data collection, validation, and outcome measurement for agency programs. May include:
Client's aging and demographic, Service utilization, Admission/Discharges, Client/Staff satisfaction, Risk Management, Utilization/Authorization reports, Community demographics, Clinical Assessment Outcomes, & Training evaluations/registration - Assist with creation and generation of reports through MS-Excel and core databases (Carelogic, Doctor First, Qualifacts)
- Gather and interpret the Center's requirements and monitor data trends to proactively identify issues.
- Assist with collection of contract treatment summaries and reviewing services against invoices for contracts, as well as submitting timely information.
- Creation of EHR system accounts to include Care Logic, Dr. First and Wellness Hub and processes as well as training of staff as assigned.
- Troubleshooting EHR system issues and submission of tickets for assistance from Qualifacts.
- Ensure submission of utilization reports (overrides, 60-day authorizations, underutilized, service utilization, monthly authorized uniform assessment count) as requested.
- Implement Peer Review and Structural Audit processes on a regular basis and other Performance Quality Improvement duties as assigned in accordance with the Center's National Council on Accreditation standards Aggregate and interpret data based on Center's needs and deliverables.
- Participate in data collection and data entry as needed for grant and contract reporting as well as ensuring grant deliverables are met regularly.
- Assist in adherence to Grant Reporting Calendar.
- Compiles and submits grant and contract reports as assigned by Quality Assurance Supervisor.
- Ensuring Relias training assignments are completed upon hiring of staff.
- Assistance in Policy and Procedure system development process
- Complete tasks and projects as assigned by Quality Assurance Supervisor and Management Team.
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of two years' related experience preferred.
