Care Center Specialist (Nights)
El Paso Behavioral Health System is a private 167-bed psychiatric hospital located in El Paso, Texas, specializing in mental health and chemical dependency care. We provide a wide range of evidence‑based services and programs that offer supportive and compassionate care through specialty programs tailored to meet patient needs.
Responsibilities- Assist in the process of receiving, scheduling, and/or referring inquiry calls.
- Support Care Center Intake Counselors, Coordinators, and Director with coordinating assessments, initiating intake paperwork, and insurance information.
- Collaborate with the Admission Clerk to ensure a smooth transition into the admission process.
- Nights:
Sunday, Monday, and Wednesdays
The Care Center Specialist is responsible for assisting in the process of receiving, scheduling, and/or referring inquiry calls. Assist the Care Center Intake Counselors, Coordinators, and Director with coordinating assessments, initiating intake paperwork, and insurance information. Work with the Admission Clerk to ensure a smooth transition into the admission process.
Qualifications- Education:
High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in a human‑related field preferred. - Experience:
Experience working in a hospital intake department or business office preferred. - Licensure: CNA preferred.
- Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of Handle With Care Training within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting with restraining procedures.
- Must have and maintain current CPR certification.
- May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
