Join Our Faculty:
Medical Assistant Instructor

Location: El Paso, TX
Pay: $20.80 – $24.92 / hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday (20 hours/week) – Day Shift. No weekends, no nights!

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Experience: At least three (3) years of full‑time, hands‑on experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Certification: A current, unencumbered CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) certification.
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program (or equivalent verified training).
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and video‑conferencing tools (Zoom/Teams).
  • Preferred: Prior experience in classroom teaching or clinical training is a plus, but not required.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the Lab: Teach and supervise hands‑on clinical skills like injections, EKGs, and phlebotomy.
  • Classroom Instruction: Deliver engaging lesson plans and evaluate student work promptly.
  • Student

    Coaching:

    Maintain office hours to advise students and help them overcome academic or behavioral challenges.
  • Community Connection: Supervise externships and help arrange guest speakers from the El Paso medical community.
